Nonylphenol Ethoxylate is a non-ionic surfactant that, like other non-ionic surfactants, consists of a mixture of ethoxylated compounds with varying numbers of ethylene oxide units. It is available in mole numbers such as 6, 10, 20, 30, and so on. Ethoxylated nonylphenols are used in various applications, including the formulation of detergents and cleaners, industrial emulsifiers, paints and resins, emulsion polymerization, and more. These compounds are utilized wherever there is a need to enhance surface activity. They exhibit excellent cleaning, emulsifying, and solubilizing properties. Different grades of NPE generally do not pose significant issues in terms of handling and storage, as they are not volatile or corrosive substances.
